Nicole Foster was raised in Columbus, Ohio and has made Chicago her home for the past 14 years. After graduating from Miami University of Ohio, she worked for several award-winning advertising agencies. Nicole re-ignited her life long passion for design with the renovation of her 80-year-old Chicago bungalow with her husband Chris. Attending Harrington College of Design at night, while taking her initial clients on the weekends, she ultimately decided to leave advertising for a new full-time career in interior design.
During her first year as a start-up firm, Nicole worked as an apprentice at Nate Berkus Associates. While there, she further refined her design aesthetic. Nicole is inspired by spaces that are an interesting mixture of new and antique pieces, high and low-cost items, and unique objects that have their own interesting story to tell. The ultimate space created should be one that speaks about the uniqueness of the inhabitant, not of a specific design style or period in time. Nicole and her team want to create a space that is a unique expression of you. Their work has received top awards from NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) and has also been featured in the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun Times.
